"100,000 EUROS TO WHOEVER CAN TAME THIS BULL!"

The story follows a wealthy landowner named Don Mateo, who owned a ferocious bull named Demon. Weighing nearly 900kg, the bull was extremely dangerous and had already sent three people to the hospital with severe injuries. Don Mateo had tried everything—hiring professional trainers, veterinarians, and even an expert from Portugal—but no one could calm the beast.

Eventually, he decided to turn the situation into a spectacle at a festival. Standing on a wooden platform, Don Mateo held up an envelope full of cash and declared: "One hundred thousand euros to whoever can make him obey!"

The murmuring crowd fell silent as a 15-year-old boy, thin and dressed in old clothes with bare feet, stepped into the arena. People began to laugh, thinking the boy was walking to his certain death.

As the bull spotted the boy and charged with terrifying speed, the boy didn't run. At the exact moment when a collision seemed inevitable, he took one step forward and slowly raised his hand. Miraculously, the bull abruptly slowed down and stopped right in front of him.

The boy placed his hand on the bull’s forehead. The bull exhaled heavily and lowered its head submissively. The entire crowd was in shock.

Don Mateo, stunned, asked: "How did you do that?"

The boy calmly replied: "He isn’t evil; he’s just afraid."

The boy explained that Don Mateo had taken the bull away from its mother too early, kept it in isolation, and beat it whenever it didn't obey. It was that cruel treatment that had turned it into a monster in the eyes of others.

When Don Mateo asked how he knew all this, the boy revealed a heartbreaking truth: Three years ago, this bull belonged to his father’s ranch. Don Mateo had manipulated the situation to take the bull for almost nothing after claiming it was worthless. A year later, the boy’s father passed away.

Turning pale, Don Mateo lowered the envelope of money and asked the boy what he wanted. The boy stroked the bull one last time and said:

"I didn't come for the money. I came to take him home."

The story ends with the image of the province's most dangerous bull standing peacefully beside its true owner, reminding us that understanding and love are far more powerful than violence or wealth.
