Cleaning the TV with tissue paper or plain water is a mistake. Use this to clean the dust and not scratch the screen

Using tissues or water can affect the quality of your TV screen. To clean the dust on the screen, follow the steps below.
A TV is an essential electronic device in modern homes. After some time of use, the screen tends to gather a lot of dust, which affects the image quality. However, not everyone knows the correct way to clean a TV screen.
Many people have the habit of using tissues or any available cloth at home to wipe the screen. Some even use water to clean the screen. However, tissues or cloths with rough surfaces can scratch the screen. When using water, it may seep into the gaps, potentially damaging the internal electronics.
To clean your TV screen, follow these steps:
First, before cleaning the TV or any electronic device, make sure to disconnect it from the power source. This will help you better spot the areas with more dust and also ensure safety by avoiding electrical accidents.
To wipe the screen, you should prepare a microfiber cloth, a screen-cleaning cloth, or a soft fabric cloth. Avoid using tissues or old clothes to clean the screen.
Additionally, you can use warm water, water mixed with a little alcohol, or vinegar. Avoid using cleaning solutions containing ammonia, acetone, ethyl chloride, etc., as they can damage the screen. You can also use commercial screen-cleaning solutions available on the market.
Note, do not spray the cleaning solution directly onto the screen, as water may seep into the gaps and damage the internal electronics.
You should dampen the cloth with the cleaning solution and then gently wipe the screen. Use light pressure to remove dust; avoid pressing too hard as it may damage the screen. For stubborn stains, you may need to wipe several times with light pressure to remove them.
For the edges and base of the TV, as these are typically made of hard plastic, which is less sensitive, you can use tissues or regular cloths to wipe away dust.
With just a few simple steps, your TV screen will be free of dust without the risk of scratching.
