🇺🇦 Olga’s Journey: A Fight for a Brighter Future

When war came to Ukraine, Olga didn’t just flee the bombs—she fought to keep her family together. With three young children and no safe place to go, she became a refugee overnight. Her home was gone. Her future uncertain.

But Olga didn’t give up.

She found shelter in Fastiv, Kyiv region, where she connected with Hope and Homes for Children, a humanitarian organization helping families rebuild. Through their support, Olga received essentials—food, clothing, emotional care—and a safe space for her children to heal.

“Being a mum is difficult even when everything’s normal. It’s even more difficult during a war,” Olga said.

Despite trauma and displacement, she remained fiercely protective, nurturing, and determined. Her children now attend school. They laugh again. And Olga continues to advocate for others like her.
