The natural feature Sink once admitted having a complicated relationship with became something other people began paying salons to recreate.

A trait that makes someone feel conspicuous during childhood can later become fashionable. Something considered unusual during one era can become highly desirable during another.
That unpredictability may be another reason why building an identity entirely around trends can be exhausting.
