“Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea, 67, says warmly during an intimate sit-down interview featured in a teaser shared on Instagram Thursday. Her rare public comment about their relationship quickly caught fans’ attention, as Andrea has long been known for being private and deeply protective of her daughter (source: People).

Immediately after her remark, the trailer cuts to a glowing Taylor Swift wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey during rehearsal, her smile hinting at the joy of her new romance. Viewers then get a brief peek at a speakerphone conversation between the singer and the NFL star — a glimpse into their playful dynamic that fans rarely get to see.

“We basically have the same job,” Taylor jokes to Kelce, as he laughs and replies that they both work with teams.
“You’ve got Coach Andy Reid, and I’ve got my mom,” she adds, both bursting into laughter — a moment showcasing how effortlessly their worlds intertwine.

The trailer continues with scenes of Swift, 35, watching Kelce, 36, from afar during one of his football games, and Kelce proudly cheering her on from the audience at one of her concerts. At one point, the couple shares quick backstage kisses — subtle but meaningful expressions of affection that subtly acknowledge how close they’ve become despite their demanding careers (source: Billboard).

Swift also reflects emotionally on the “bonding experience” her shows created for fans across the globe. She reveals that she conceptualized the Eras Tour two years before it launched in 2023, determined to craft a once-in-a-lifetime show.

“I wanted to overserve the fans — the amount of songs, how far I was willing to push myself. My main goal was to give the fans something they did not expect,” she says, as clips of her childhood performances flash on screen.

She later calls the tour one of the “biggest challenges” of her life, describing its “seismic effect” on both her career and personal world — an impact widely acknowledged by industry experts, who have called the Eras Tour one of the most influential pop spectacles of the decade (source: The New York Times).

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Swift wrote:
“Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12.”

Exactly one month earlier, she had officially announced the docuseries, calling it a way to preserve the memories of “the most important and intense chapter of our lives.” She added that filmmakers captured the final show in full, ensuring fans could experience the end of the monumental tour from every angle (source: Variety).

The series will also feature several intimate moments with Kelce, including a scene where Swift hugs and kisses the Kansas City Chiefs tight end backstage. Another clip shows Kelce lifting her playfully during rehearsals for his cameo onstage at her June 2024 Eras Tour performance — a moment that made headlines when it happened live (source: CNN).

“The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” including the complete Tortured Poets Department set and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, will premiere on Disney+ on December 12.

The trailer also features guest appearances from Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams — both of whom opened for Swift on various tour dates — as well as Ed Sheeran, Swift’s longtime collaborator and close friend.

The Eras Tour itself became a cultural and economic phenomenon, running from March 2023 to December 2024 and generating billions in revenue worldwide (source: BBC News). During the tour, Swift managed to release two new albums — The Tortured Poets Department and The Life of a Showgirl — and re-record two of her earlier records, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

The End of an Era will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ beginning December 12.
