Meghan, 44, chose a sleek all-black ensemble — a fitted long-sleeved top paired with a flowing skirt — while Harry kept it classic in a velvet tuxedo, complete with a Remembrance poppy on his lapel. The aura of the evening was unmistakably high-glamour: crystal chandeliers, roulette tables, luxe gift bags, and a caviar bar that insiders described as “over the top even for the Kardashians.” 

Yet what truly caught attention wasn’t just the arrival — it was what followed. Digging deeper, multiple outlets reported that photos of Meghan and Harry had originally been posted by Jenner and by Kim Kardashian — then subsequently deleted. Meanwhile, another source asserted that no photo-consent forms had ever existed for the event — casting doubt on narratives about formal sign-offs. 

Sources close to the Jenner circle reportedly express frustration. According to one article, the family was “annoyed” that attention shifted to Meghan & Harry’s involvement (and Instagram drama) rather than their mother’s milestone celebration.
Another wrinkle: the timing. The party took place over the weekend of Remembrance Day in the UK. Harry wore a poppy; Meghan did not — and British media flagged the omission. Some suggested that the Sussexes’ appearance at an ultra-Hollywood affair represented a tension between their current U.S. celebrity lifestyle and the still-unresolved relationship with the British royal institution.
