That night, everything was as usual. He came. I took the pill. And I fell asleep. The next day, when he left, I locked myself in the room and played the recording. At first, nothing unusual. At that moment, I understand that this is how he became rich, that I’m not the first and probably not the last, and that all those “conditions” were just a trap to keep me here.

My hands start shaking, but I force myself to watch until the end, because I need to understand everything, down to the smallest detail. And when the video ends, I already know I can’t stay even one more second.

I quickly gather the most necessary things, take my documents and phone, without even thinking that I might be breaking the contract, because now it’s clear — that contract means nothing, and if I stay, I will simply disappear, just like the girls before me.

I wait until he leaves the house, watch through the window as his car disappears beyond the gate, and in that moment everything inside me tightens with fear, because I realize I only have one chance. I quietly leave the house, trying not to make any noise, every movement is difficult, my heart is beating so hard it feels like it can be heard throughout the whole room, but I don’t stop, I open the door and literally run outside.
