🪂🐍 I’m A Celebrity… 2025 Launch: Winners Secure Steak Dinner as Kelly Brook & Campmates Face the ‘Cockie Van’

Ruby Wax, Ant and Dec and Lisa Riley on I'm A Celeb

The much-anticipated 25th series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! exploded onto screens on November 16, 2025 (Cosmopolitan, ITV). Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly wasted no time in introducing the starting lineup of ten famous faces, who were immediately forced to confront their fears in a dramatic race to secure the most coveted prizes in the jungle: a luxurious bed and a steak dinner.

The celebrity contestants were divided into two groups, with the winners of the inaugural challenges earning a privileged journey in the Getaway Car, while the losers faced the gruesome confines of the aptly named Cockie Van.

Challenge 1: The Skydiving Gauntlet

The first group of five celebrities, featuring model and radio host Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, musician and actor Martin Kemp, comedian Eddie Kadi, and actress Shona McGarty, were flown high above a pristine sandy beach. Their only way down? A tandem parachute jump, setting a high-octane tone for the series (ITV).

Upon landing, the celebrities were plunged straight into their first challenge: a slimy scramble. They were required to wade through offal and muck to locate five tools needed to unlock five bolts, ultimately releasing a key fob for the Getaway Car. Under immense pressure, it was Aitch and Eddie Kadi who emerged victorious, claiming the first two luxury spots (The Independent).

This meant that Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp, and Shona McGarty were relegated to the dreaded Cockie Van. For Brook, who recently won Celebrity Race Across the World and has a storied past with Ant & Dec following a brief and controversial judging stint on Britain’s Got Talent (Eastern Daily Press), this was an immediate setback.

Challenge 2: Head-to-Head with the Critters

The second group—comprising media personality Jack Osbourne, comedian Ruby Wax, actress Lisa Riley, former Lioness Alex Scott, and content creator Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Burtwistle)—were initially given a false sense of security by arriving at a stunning, palatial villa.

However, the "luxury" was short-lived. They were immediately tasked with a terrifying trial that required both nerve and a strong stomach. Celebrities had to place their hands into a box full of green ants to unscrew bolts, all while having their heads encased in a separate box containing snakes (ITV).

YouTube and Twitch star Angry Ginge, known for his football and FIFA-related content and commanding a large online following (Oxford Mail), secured a win alongside Jack Osbourne. Ginge, who was reportedly paid around £100,000 to appear and is seen as a key draw for younger viewers (The Sun via Oxford Mail), proved his mettle early on.

The Two-Tiered Jungle Experience

The four successful celebrities—Aitch, Eddie Kadi, Jack Osbourne, and Angry Ginge—were treated to the comforts of the Getaway Car, complete with cocktails and canapés, before arriving at a luxury campsite where a well-deserved steak dinner awaited them.

Meanwhile, the six losing campmates—Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp, Shona McGarty, Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, and Alex Scott—endured the long, critter-filled journey in the Cockie Van, driven by fan-favourite Kiosk Kev (The Independent). Their initial jungle dinner was significantly less appealing: they had to win a subsequent trial just to dine on emu neck (The Independent). The contrasting arrivals immediately set up a divide between the campmates, promising a lively dynamic as the series continues.
