Jennifer Aniston Goes Instagram Official With Boyfriend Jim Curtis: “Happy Birthday My Love”
Jennifer Aniston is officially off the market.
The Friends alum, 56, confirmed her new relationship on Sunday by going Instagram official with her boyfriend, wellness coach Jim Curtis. The actress marked the occasion by posting a tender black-and-white photo of the pair embracing, writing in the caption: “Happy birthday my love. Cherished ❤️.”
In the picture, Aniston can be seen beaming as she wraps her arms around Curtis from behind — a cozy, candid moment that instantly sent her fans into a frenzy. Within minutes, her comment section overflowed with messages celebrating the couple’s milestone. “You deserve to be loved endlessly, Jen. So happy for you!😍,” one fan gushed, while another wrote, “Couldn’t be happier for you two. My heart is exploding ❤️.” A third fan added: “Finally someone worthy of love! Blessings! 🔥🙌.”
According to People, Aniston’s friends are equally thrilled. “Her close friends love him. He’s amazing to be around,” an insider told the outlet in September. “He has this really calm and secure energy — Jen loves it.” The source also emphasized that Curtis “feels different” from Aniston’s previous partners, which include Hollywood heavyweights Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux (People).
Curtis, a health and wellness entrepreneur and motivational speaker, has been vocal about self-love and relationships on social media. During an Instagram Q&A on October 29, he shared his advice on dating later in life: “First love yourself and recognize that you are the perfect age and that life is not over at 42. When you are 62 or 72, you’ll look back and wish you were that age.” He added, “Go out, open yourself to love, smile, connect with people — and most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you magnetize more love to you.”
The couple were first photographed together in July while vacationing on the Spanish island of Mallorca, joined by Aniston’s longtime friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka (Daily Mail). Since then, Aniston and Curtis have been spotted on several casual outings, including a dinner at Nobu Malibu in August and a relaxed stroll through New York City’s West Village in early September.
The romance appears to have blossomed quickly but steadily. A source told Entertainment Tonight that Aniston had been “ready to open her heart again” and that Curtis’ “grounded and kind personality” was exactly what she had been looking for. “He’s not from the Hollywood bubble,” the insider added. “He’s supportive without being overbearing, and that’s something Jen really values” (ET).
Curtis, who has a background in corporate wellness and once served as Head of Brand for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, has focused much of his career on mental and emotional health. His approach to holistic well-being — emphasizing compassion and authenticity — seems to resonate deeply with Aniston, who has long advocated for mindfulness and personal growth.
This new chapter also comes after the Emmy-winning actress’ candid discussion about her journey with fertility. On Armchair Expert last month, Aniston spoke about her past struggles and decision not to pursue adoption. “When people say, ‘But you can adopt,’ I don’t want to adopt,” she said. “I wanted my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way — selfish or not — that I’ve wanted it.” Reflecting on her experience, she added: “It just wasn’t in the plan, whatever the plan was. It’s very emotional, especially in the moment when they say ‘that’s it.’ There’s a weird moment when that happens.” (Armchair Expert Podcast).
According to Variety, Aniston’s openness about her private life has been praised by fans and fellow celebrities alike for helping to normalize conversations around fertility and aging in Hollywood.
For now, though, Aniston seems content focusing on love, balance, and the next phase of her life — away from the glare of tabloids and toward something more grounded.
As The Guardian notes, Aniston has long embodied a “quiet resilience and optimism,” both onscreen and off. With her new relationship now public, it seems that optimism may finally have found its match.
