“What are you doing?! Get away from me!”

People stood now.

Watching openly.

But the boy only stepped back, still staring at the mark like he’d found a ghost.

Then whispered—

“My mother had the same one…”

Everything changed.

Camera PUSHED IN—

the woman’s face shifting in real time.

Arrogance.

Shock.

Then fear.

Her hand moved instinctively to cover her neck.

“Who is your mother?”

The boy was breathing hard now, tears filling his eyes.

Slowly, carefully, he reached into his pocket.

Pulled out a crumpled old photograph.

Camera CLOSE-UP—

a younger woman.

The same tattoo.

Holding a baby.

The café went completely silent.

No cups.

No voices.

No street noise.

Only tension.

The boy lifted his eyes and locked onto hers.

“She said… if I ever found you…”

A pause.

Heavy enough to stop time.

“…I should ask why you left me behind.”

EXTREME CLOSE-UP—

all color drained from the woman’s face.

Her lips parted.

“That’s impossible…”

Her hand reached slowly toward the photo—
