Twenty-six-year-old Emily had been working as a wildlife reserve ranger for three years.
She came there right after graduating from university and quickly earned the respect of her colleagues. Emily loved
animals and sincerely believed she could protect them from people who came to the savannah for nothing but money.
What worried her most was a group of poachers that had been operating within the reserve for several months.
Every time they appeared in a different location.

Silence fell over the area.

Leading them was a massive adult lion with a dark mane.
Even from a distance, he looked terrifying.
Emily felt her legs grow weak.
She stopped screaming.
The lion moved toward her slowly.
The other predators followed behind him.
The distance between them shrank with every second.
Finally, the huge lion came almost right up to her.
