The CIA may have found the Ark of the Covenant in 1988. This is the box that held the tablets that God gave Moses that had the Ten Commandments written on them.

Because the Ark of the Covenant has not been found yet, this one should be taken with a huge amount of salt.

The Ark was lost when the Babylonians took over Jerusalem in 587 BC. The Babylonians were known for many things, including their hanging gardens, but no one has ever been able to say for sure where it went.

If you accept what Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark says, it was taken by “top men” and put away in a warehouse. But where it really went has been a mystery for a long time.

It was said that the Ark had special powers that let the Israelites cross a river by stopping it from flowing and helped them in battle. When the Philistines tried to take it, it was said to have given them sickness until they gave it back.

Some declassified CIA papers from 2000 say that they sent an agent to see the Ark and told them it was “located somewhere in the Middle East” and “hidden underground” in a “dark and wet” place.

This person said that the Ark did have powers and that anyone who tried to open it would be “destroyed by the container’s protectors.” Or maybe they got those information from watching Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The CIA report says that the Ark’s position was found by one of their “remote viewers” as part of “Project Sun Streak.”

This is where the hope that the Ark of the Covenant was found starts to fade a bit, since Project Sun Streak used agents who were thought to have mental powers.

They were used as “remote viewers,” which is when a person looks at something with their mind instead of their body.

One of these agents said he could see a past civilization on Mars from afar using only his mind. However, the CIA later shut down the project because “no discernible benefit had been established.”

So this supposed claim that the CIA found where the Ark of the Covenant was kept seems to be based on a psychic reading that happened a few years before the CIA gave up on using psychics because they weren’t working.

In light of this, it’s very doubtful that the Ark of the Covenant has been found somewhere.

The person from far away drew some pictures of what the area and the Ark looked like, and a lot of them matched pictures of the Ark that were already out there.
