But in Chengdu, China, a Bentley once became the unlikely daily transportation of someone whose job had absolutely nothing to do with luxury cars.
She was a dishwasher.

The woman, who was described by media reports as being in her 60s, worked at a restaurant in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Her daily routine was remarkably ordinary. Her daughter would drive her to work in a black Bentley.

A video showing the unusual scene was posted on Weibo in April 2023 and quickly attracted millions of views. Reports said the footage showed the woman arriving at a hotel or restaurant for work, dressed for a completely ordinary cleaning job despite arriving in a vehicle associated with considerable wealth and status.
