Take meat from the freezer, it's hard as a brick, add a few drops of this for 5 minutes and it will be soft and fresh, ready to cook.

With just 2 simple ingredients that every household has, you can easily defrost meat in 5 minutes.

Nowadays, many families store meat and fish in the refrigerator to save time going to the market. When needed, they will take the meat out to thaw and cook. However, thawing a piece of meat often takes a long time. If you let the meat thaw slowly in the refrigerator, it will take a whole day. If you take the meat out of the refrigerator and let it thaw naturally, it is not safe. Soaking the meat in water to thaw is also not the fastest way.

To defrost meat quickly and ensure the meat retains its freshness, follow the instructions below.

Dissolve with a spoon

Prepare a bowl of water (make sure the amount of water can cover the meat). Add 2 tablespoons of salt and stir. Put the meat in to soak in the salt water. After about 10 minutes, you will see the meat soften.

You don't need to soak the meat until it's tender. It just needs to be tender but still a little firm. Slightly firm meat will be easier to slice thinly and look better.

If you still want a softer meat, you can cut the meat into pieces and continue to soak in water for a few more minutes.

Dissolve with white vinegar

To keep the meat fresh and quickly thawed, you can use white vinegar. Mix white vinegar in a basin of water and then soak the meat in it for about 5-10 minutes. White vinegar contains acetic acid which can lower the freezing point of water, helping the thawing process of the meat to happen faster.

You can combine both salt and white vinegar to speed up the disintegration of the meat.

Melt with sugar water

Pour warm water about 40 degrees into a bowl (mix warm water with cold water in a ratio of 1:5). Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir. Drop the cold meat into the sugar water to soak. The sugar molecules will make the ice crystals in the meat melt faster. After only 7-10 minutes, your meat will be tender.

Ginger

Adding ginger to the water to melt the meat will help the meat retain its natural red color and taste better.

You just need to prepare a basin of warm water about 40 degrees. Crush some ginger and put it in the basin of water. Then, put the meat in the ginger water to soak. Ginger has a warming effect so it will help the meat to melt quickly.

Note, when buying meat, you need to divide large pieces of meat into portions enough for one meal. When needed, take only one piece out to thaw. Absolutely do not thaw the entire large piece of meat just to cut off a small part and feed the rest.
