When cleaning the house, add this to the water and the floor will be as clean as new

A few days ago, a cleaning lady who has worked in this field for over 30 years taught me a little trick. Using this method, your floor will be very clean and won’t easily attract dust.
Many people say that after mopping, the floor quickly becomes dusty again and may even have an unpleasant odor. Especially in the summer, if the floor is not cleaned properly, a strong odor can develop in each room, which is very uncomfortable.
I just learned this very effective floor-cleaning method. A few days ago, a cleaning lady with over 30 years of experience taught me a simple trick. Using this method, your floor will be spotless and won’t easily attract dust.
Steps to mop the floor so it stays clean and dust-free for a week:
The first thing you need to do before mopping is sweep the floor. If the floor is dirty, mopping alone won’t make it clean.
Then, add the following ingredients to your mop bucket:
-
Salt: Add a small amount of salt to the water. Salt can quickly dry the floor and also acts as a disinfectant.
-
Dishwashing liquid: Add a few drops of dish soap. It has strong grease-removing properties. If there are food or oil stains on the floor, the dish soap will help remove them, making the floor cleaner.
-
White vinegar or lemon juice: Add a little white vinegar or lemon juice to the water. This helps soften dirt, making it easier to clean, and leaves the floor shiny.
-
Alcohol: Adding a bit of alcohol disinfects the floor and prevents mold growth.
-
Baking soda: Pour in a small amount of baking soda. This powder has strong decontaminating properties and also helps remove dirt from the floor surface.
-
Fabric softener: The most important step is adding a little fabric softener to the mop water. In summer, the floor tends to be dry and prone to static electricity. Static attracts dust and dirt, so adding fabric softener prevents static and keeps the floor cleaner for longer.
-
Optional – medicated oil (essential oil or camphor oil): You can add a little to the mop water. This not only gives the floor a pleasant scent but also helps repel mosquitoes and insects.
After adding all the ingredients to the mop bucket, stir well to dissolve everything. Then use your mop as usual.
You will notice that even a very dirty floor becomes bright and clean after just one pass. Using this method, your floor can stay clean for a week without mopping, and it won’t develop unpleasant odors.
