Skipping Warm-Up Exercises

Failing to warm up properly can cause sudden stress on the cardiovascular system, especially in people with underlying conditions such as high blood pressure or heart disease. Abrupt changes in heart rate and blood pressure may significantly raise the risk of stroke.
Overtraining or Exercising Beyond Physical Limits
Pushing the body beyond its capacity can lead to extreme fatigue, dehydration, and heart rhythm disturbances. Excessive exercise, particularly in hot or harsh weather conditions, places enormous strain on the heart and circulatory system. Showering Immediately After Exercise

After intense physical activity, the body needs time to stabilize its temperature and blood pressure. Taking a shower immediately — especially with cold water — can cause sudden blood vessel constriction. This rapid vascular response may lead to sharp increases in blood pressure and increase the risk of stroke. It is generally recommended to rest for at least 15–30 minutes after exercising before showering.
Ignoring Warning Signs During Exercise
Symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, numbness in the arms or legs, irregular heartbeat, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath during exercise should never be ignored. These may be early warning signs of serious cardiovascular problems, including stroke. Anyone experiencing such symptoms should stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
