Garlic peels are not trash, don't rush to throw them away: Doing it this way will have great effects, even if you have money, it's hard to buy

We often throw away garlic skins right after peeling them. However, from now on, don’t be in a hurry to discard them because they have many useful applications!
1. Use garlic skins to bury in the soil
You can mix garlic skins with soil and bury them in plant pots to create a great organic fertilizer. Garlic skins are rich in nutrients. After a period of fermentation, they will break down into a natural compost that helps plants grow better, bloom, and bear fruit quickly. This method will save you a lot of money on commercial fertilizers.
2. Mix garlic skins into animal feed
If you have pets at home, you can mix garlic skins into their food. The nutrients in the garlic skins will boost their growth. This is a great way to make use of garlic skins while saving a bit on pet food!
3. Use garlic as a nutrient supplement for plants
If you want your plants to stay healthy and green, you can regularly spray garlic water on them. For example, with betel leaf plants, their leaves often turn yellow due to a lack of nutrients. At this point, the grower can spray garlic water diluted 1:500 on the plant to help the leaves stay green. In fact, garlic contains a range of rich nutrients that can enhance plant vitality, fight off bacteria, and detoxify plants, making them fresher.
For flowering plants, you can also spray a little garlic water on them. Just be careful not to overdo it, as too much can cause the flowers to wither prematurely. When used in moderation, garlic water will help the flowers bloom longer, with richer colors. Whether for flowering or green plants, garlic water shouldn’t be used too frequently—once every 1 to 1.5 months is ideal.
4. Use garlic to repel pests
In addition to serving as fertilizer, garlic is also effective in repelling pests and insects. You can use garlic water to spray on leaves that are affected by pests like aphids, small black beetles, red spiders, etc., all of which are highly repelled by the smell of garlic.
When using garlic water on plants, pests will either flee or be destroyed. This way, garlic skins not only provide nutrients to the plants but also protect them from harmful pests, all without using harmful chemicals or pesticides. This method is especially beneficial for "urban gardeners" to learn and apply.
Additionally, there’s another excellent concoction for plants made from four ingredients: chili, garlic, onion, and ginger. This mixture contains a large amount of acid that affects the eyes and skin of pests and can kill or drive them away.
To create your own pest repellent from these ingredients, crush 1 kg of garlic, 1 kg of chili, and 1 kg of ginger, then soak them in 3 liters of alcohol stored in a jar or container.
You can also soak each ingredient separately—1 kg of each with 1 liter of alcohol. After soaking for 15 days, the active compounds from the ingredients will blend into the alcohol, creating a potent mixture perfect for eliminating pests.
