Then, you should drop your shoulders as low as possible, followed by relaxing your arms and hands. Next, exhale deeply and relax your chest, followed by your legs — first the thighs, then the calves.
Once your body is fully relaxed, the next step is mental relaxation. This part of the method is crucial. You are instructed to clear your mind of all thoughts for ten seconds. To help with this, you can visualize calming scenes such as lying in a canoe on a peaceful lake or lying in a black room on a soft bed.
