Strictly star Ellie Goldstein’s future ‘revealed’ as she breaks silence on exit
Ellie Goldstein’s Next Chapter After ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Exit: What’s Next for the Rising Star
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ellie Goldstein became the latest celebrity to leave the competition this past weekend — but for the trailblazing model and actress, her journey in the spotlight is far from over.
On Sunday night (November 2), the 23-year-old and her professional dance partner, Vito Coppola, found themselves in the bottom two alongside EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal and her partner, Julian Caillon. After a tense dance-off, the judges decided to save Balvinder, making Ellie the fifth celebrity to depart the BBC’s iconic ballroom show (BBC News).
Despite her elimination, Ellie’s time on Strictly has been hailed as a milestone moment for representation and inclusion in mainstream entertainment. Goldstein, who has Down syndrome, made history as one of the first models with a disability to appear on British Vogue’s cover and to feature in campaigns for Gucci Beauty (The Guardian).
From Catwalk to Ballroom: A Star on the Rise
Although her Strictly journey has come to a close, Goldstein’s profile has soared since appearing on the hit BBC show. Before joining the series, she had already earned international recognition as a model and actress, appearing in Malory Towers and collaborating with brands like Nike and Adidas (Variety).
According to SportsCasting’s latest odds, Ellie’s next move could include becoming a global ambassador for a major charity by the end of 2026 (2/1). She might also host her own TV or documentary series (3/1), or even sign up for Celebrity MasterChef or I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! (5/1).
“Outside television, Ellie could easily branch into fashion entrepreneurship or take on a lead role in film,” SportsCasting analyst Shane Orton told Entertainment Daily! “Her charisma and authenticity have captured audiences everywhere, and her Strictly experience has only solidified her position as a rising British icon.”
‘Being Part of Strictly Has Been a Dream Come True’
Following her emotional exit, Ellie shared a heartfelt message with fans on Instagram.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she began. “Wow… what a journey! I can’t even begin to put into words how grateful I am for all the love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received since leaving Strictly Come Dancing. Every single comment, message, vote, cheer, and word of encouragement has meant the world to me.”
She continued, “Being part of Strictly has been a dream come true — the sparkle, the music, the laughter, and most of all, the people. I’ve grown so much, learned things I never thought I could do, and made memories I’ll treasure forever.”
Goldstein also praised her “amazing” dance partner, writing: “Thank you, Vito, for believing in me, for your patience, and for pushing me to be my best. You’re truly one of a kind. My life feels complete having shared this experience with you.”
‘This Isn’t Goodbye — Just the Beginning’
In her message, Ellie expressed deep gratitude to the Strictly production team, presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, and her fellow castmates. “Thank you for making this magical show what it is. You’ve given me an experience I’ll never forget. And to the fabulous cast — I love you all.”
She also thanked her agency, Zebedee Talent, known for championing diverse models and performers, for their continued support.
Ellie concluded her message on an inspiring note: “To everyone watching at home, thank you for opening your hearts to me, for celebrating inclusion, and for showing that dance is for everyone. You CAN achieve anything you want — just follow your dreams. This isn’t goodbye… just the beginning of a new chapter.”
As People Magazine noted in a recent profile, Goldstein’s influence extends far beyond the dance floor. Her journey represents a powerful shift in entertainment, where diversity and inclusion are no longer side stories but central to the cultural conversation.
With international brands, TV producers, and advocacy groups already expressing interest in working with her, Ellie Goldstein’s next act promises to be as groundbreaking as her first — and fans around the world will undoubtedly be cheering her on every step of the way.
