Dropping wind oil on garlic

Add a few drops of medicated oil to garlic. Tie the mask tightly and place this little bag in areas with many mosquitoes such as windows, doors, or under the bed — and you will see surprising results.
Medicated oil and garlic are common household items, but their usual purposes are completely different. Although they seem unrelated, when combined, they bring unexpected benefits.

The surprising use of combining medicated oil with garlic

First, take a few cloves of garlic and peel them. Cut the garlic into small pieces so its scent can disperse better. Take a disposable mask and cut off one end. Separate the mask layers and place the garlic inside. Add a few drops of medicated oil onto the garlic. Tie the mask tightly and place this little bag where mosquitoes often appear—like near windows, doors, or under the bed.

What this garlic–medicated oil pouch does

The purpose of this small pouch of garlic and medicated oil is to repel mosquitoes.
Mosquitoes absolutely hate the smell of garlic and medicated oil. Once they smell it, they will stay far away, and your home will no longer be filled with their buzzing. This anti-mosquito pouch is extremely easy to make, inexpensive, and anyone can do it.

You simply crush and finely chop several garlic cloves, put them into a small pouch, and add a few drops of medicated oil. If you don’t want to prepare a pouch, you can simply use a disposable mask—cut one end, place the mixture inside, and tie it shut.

You can also use ginger combined with medicated oil for a similar effect. Finely chop ginger, place it in a mask, add a few drops of medicated oil, and hang it in areas where mosquitoes usually gather.

Other uses of medicated oil

+ Deodorizing

You can combine medicated oil with white vinegar to create an effective deodorizing spray for bathrooms.

Pour 150–200 ml of white vinegar into a small bowl or spray bottle. Add 10–15 drops of medicated oil and 200 ml of water to dilute it, then shake well.

Spray directly into the toilet bowl or around the bathroom area. The bad odor will gradually fade and disappear. You may also spray it into trash bins to remove odors and prevent bacteria and insects from growing.

+ Killing plant pests

If your plants have aphids or tiny bugs, use a mixture of medicated oil and dish soap to eliminate them.

Add a few drops of medicated oil, a little dish soap, and clean water into an empty plastic spray bottle. Shake well and spray onto areas where aphids, red spider mites, or other small insects appear. This method is effective and very safe for indoor plants.

+ Removing ballpoint pen ink stains from clothing

Ballpoint pen stains are difficult to remove, but you can clean them easily using medicated oil and toothpaste.

First, apply medicated oil directly to the ink stain to help dissolve the ink components. Then, apply toothpaste around the stain and add a little water. Rub gently — the ink will gradually fade. Finally, wash the clothing with regular detergent, and it will look clean and fresh again.
