Inside I’m A Celebrity star Aitch’s adorable bond with disabled sister Gracie – dedicating a song to her; climbing Mount Kilimanjaro; how she ‘changed’ his life
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have grown increasingly fond of Aitch, but fans became even more devoted after the rapper spoke tearfully about his younger sister Gracie, who has Down’s Syndrome. The 24-year-old Manchester star has long been open about how central Gracie is to his life and career, and his emotional conversations in the jungle have once again highlighted their remarkable bond (ITV News).
Aitch — real name Harrison Armstrong — has used his platform from the very beginning to raise awareness and promote inclusion for people with Down’s Syndrome, something he describes as his “purpose beyond music” (Manchester Evening News). Over the years he has repeatedly said that his fame means nothing compared with what Gracie has taught him.
Aitch wrote a song just for Gracie — and donates all proceeds
One of Aitch’s most personal tracks, “My G,” is a heartfelt dedication to Gracie. The emotional song, featured on his debut album, became an instant fan favourite, not only for its message but for the fact that all proceeds are donated to the Down’s Syndrome Association (BBC News).
Announcing the track, he told fans in a video:

“Track 14. ‘My G.’ This one is straight from the heart.
For my sister, Gracie — the most perfect girl I’ve ever met. Life wouldn’t be the same without you. Go live your best life.”
The music video opens with a tribute:
“This song is dedicated to Gracie Armstrong. You have the biggest heart. Don’t change for no one.”
He raps tenderly in the song:
“Baby, live your best life. You shouldn’t grow by force. All in your own time, G. The globe is yours.”
The nickname “G” refers, of course, to Gracie’s initial — a detail Aitch confirmed in interviews (NME).
“She teaches me lessons without even trying”
Speaking on Jamie Laing’s podcast, Great Company, Aitch reflected on how profoundly Gracie has shaped who he is.
“I wouldn’t even be half the person I am if she wasn’t here. She changed my life.”
He described a nightly ritual from when they were younger:
“She used to grab my face before bed and say, ‘Harrison, don’t be afraid.’”
Aitch said that being Gracie’s brother has taught him compassion and empathy:
“It’s taught me to treat everyone the same. To understand that everyone is human.” (The Guardian)
Raising over £120,000 for Down’s Syndrome charities
In early 2025, Aitch took on one of his biggest challenges yet — climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Down’s Syndrome Association.
Before even setting off, the fundraiser had amassed over £120,000, a figure that later climbed higher (Manchester Evening News).

Ahead of the trip, he shared on Instagram:
“Big up everyone who donated for the DSA. We’re leaving in the morning for Tanzania.”
The climb cemented his reputation as one of the UK’s most prominent young advocates for Down’s Syndrome awareness (BBC News).
Gracie is the reason he’s in the jungle
Before stepping into the I’m A Celebrity camp, Aitch revealed that Gracie was the driving force behind his decision to take part.
He told The Sun:
“I’m not just doing it for people with Down’s Syndrome — I’m doing it for the families too. I don’t want anyone to feel disheartened if they find out someone in their family has Down’s Syndrome.”
Fans have praised him for using prime-time television as a platform to highlight acceptance, representation, and the joy Gracie brings to his life (The Sun).

Aitch: a fan favourite with a purpose
Since arriving in camp, Aitch has won over viewers with his humour, warmth, and emotional honesty. But it’s his devotion to Gracie — expressed through his music, charity work and interviews — that has turned him into one of the most inspiring figures of this year’s series.
For Aitch, fame has always been second to family. And as he continues to champion Gracie’s story on one of the UK’s biggest TV platforms, fans say he is showing what true heart looks like.
