PART 2: “Three days… and now you come?”

Natalie gave a soft, practiced smile.

“I’m here to help.”

The camera pushed closer as she placed a leather folder beside the bed.

Grant stayed silent near the foot of the bed, watching everything carefully.

“Natalie handles estate transitions,” she said smoothly.
“You shouldn’t manage eighty million alone.”

The woman’s expression hardened instantly.

Something inside Grant shattered.

Natalie finally noticed his expression.

“Grant… what’s going on?”

But he ignored her completely.

He stared at the woman like he was staring at someone who should not exist.

Rain hammered harder against the window.

The heartbeat sound slowly rose beneath the music.

Grant took another trembling step closer.

“Oh my God…”

Natalie’s face lost all color.

The woman stared back at him, terrified now.

Grant slowly reached toward the ring—
but stopped before touching her hand.

His voice cracked.

“You’re my—”
