Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, had a very honest reaction to her dad’s big facial hair transformation. The 17-year-old did not hold back when Jelly Roll, who recently shed over 200 pounds, debuted his freshly shaved face after sporting a beard for years.

In a YouTube video posted Thursday, Bailee Ann was caught on camera standing in the kitchen, visibly shocked after seeing her dad sans beard for the first time in a decade. She immediately demanded he “stay over there” as she took multiple double-takes, unable to process the transformation. As the shock set in, Bailee Ann covered her eyes, shaking with a mix of tears and laughter.

“Oh, my God, I’m gonna cry,” she said, trying to fight back tears while giggling. “I don’t like this. You look like a turtle!” she added, as her dad laughed in the background. Despite her initial reactions, she continued to double down, repeatedly saying, “Oh, I don’t like this,” while struggling to figure out if she was laughing or feeling sad.

She compared Jelly Roll to a turtle.

At one point, she took a deep breath, placed her hands on her hips, and attempted to look at her dad again. But once more, she burst into laughter and turned away. Jelly Roll, who welcomed Bailee Ann in a previous relationship, laughed off her reactions, saying, "I’m glad I’m entertaining you, sweetheart.”

Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley Deford, revealed that the last time he shaved his face was when he had just gotten out of jail. Concerned that he might resemble a Ninja Turtle after removing his beard, he took the plunge and filmed the moment for his followers, deciding to surprise his family with his new look.

Explaining his decision, the “Need a Favor” hitmaker said, “The last time my face was shaved, I was fresh out of jail. I got a feeling I’m going to look like a Ninja Turtle, but I’m going to shave my f–king face and go surprise my family.”

Jelly Roll, who has been open about his weight loss journey, also shared that the beard had helped him cover up his double chin, something he struggled with during his heavier days. "I don’t know what I look like," he said. “I had a beard to try to cover up my double chin, which I still am clearly going to have.” He later joked that his chin didn’t extend as far as he had hoped. “I thought my chin went at least a half inch longer than it actually did, but f—k, I didn’t know. It was a failed science experiment.”

Although Jelly Roll had informed his wife, Bunnie XO, of his plans to shave, her reaction was not featured in the video. However, she had previously shared on Instagram that she was looking forward to seeing her husband's "jawline" again after his dramatic weight loss.
