Man trained like a professional athlete for 30 days and saw crazy changes to his body take place
Hard work pays off in this case
It makes sense that following the training plan of a professional athlete will cause your body to undergo some changes, but one YouTuber showed that doing it all within a 30 day period can have some miraculous and crazy results.
If there's anywhere that's the perfect testing ground for wild and often unadvisable challenges then it'd be YouTube, and plenty of creators have put their bodies and minds on the line for the purpose of experimental entertainment.
Everything from upping your water intake to walking a ridiculous number of steps every day for a week has been tried by various channels, and the effects after each one are fascinating to see.
One YouTuber has now taken on the training regime of a professional athlete for just 30 days to see how much of a difference it'll make though, and you won't want to miss the results of this video.
Jack Massey Welsh, more well known by his YouTube handle 'JackSucksAtLife', has made quite the name for himself over the past several years for challenges like this, yet his latest experiment might be one of the hardest he's faced.
He explains at the start of the video that his current fitness routine involves one hour of strength training three to four hours every single week, yet taking on the regime of a professional athlete increases this significantly.
Breaking it down, he reveals that he has to perform one hour of cardio every single morning, alongside an hour of strength training five times a week – following a specific routine as well, as opposed to doing whatever he felt like – and finally 75 push-ups and 5 minutes of dead hanging for all of the 30 days of this challenge.

In order to keep up with the amount of exercise he's doing Jack reveals that he's having to eat around 4,000 calories per day, equating to just under double the recommended amount for men his age.
Following the gruesome 30 day period, Jack revealed that he actually felt 'pretty good', noting that his energy levels have improved despite taking on significantly more exercise. That's shown in his tracking data too, as both his recovery and sleep scores increased by 13% and 8% respectively.
From a weight perspective, while Jack didn't technically lose anything as he started and ended the 30-day period at around 83 kgs, the visual comparison makes it clear that his body is now noticeably leaner and his posture has also improved.

He notes being really happy with how his arms and shoulders have developed over the relatively short period of time, and explains that he wasn't expecting to see a massive different anyway as that's more likely to appear over a period of several months or even years.
While it might not be the best idea for everybody to dive straight into the extremes of a professional's routine, Jack's progress over the short period of time shows that it definitely can make a difference, especially if you keep it up beyond the challenge's end point.
